Terms of Service
Last updated: August 4, 2026
1. Who we are
In short: GigDisco is a registered trade name of Go Be Strong LLC — that's the company you're contracting with, and your card statement will say GIGDISCO.COM.
GigDisco is a registered trade name of Go Be Strong LLC, a Washington limited liability company (“Go Be Strong”, “we”, “us”). Go Be Strong LLC is the company you are contracting with, and charges appear on your card statement as GIGDISCO.COM.
You can reach us at michael@gobestrong.com. These Terms are a contract between you and Go Be Strong LLC about your use of GigDisco at gigdisco.com and app.gigdisco.com.
2. What GigDisco is — and what it is not
In short: We are the system, not the search. You do the work and make the decisions.
GigDisco is a tool for organizing a job search: it helps you define what you are looking for, watches employers' public job boards, suggests events and organizations worth your time, and shows up on a regular cadence to keep you moving.
GigDisco is not an employment agency, a recruiter, a career counselor, or a placement service. We do not submit applications for you, negotiate for you, or represent you to anyone. We do not — and cannot — promise you interviews, offers, or a job. The work of a job search, and the decisions in it, are yours.
We are also not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any employer, event organizer, or organization that appears in GigDisco. Job listings belong to the employers who post them and can change or close at any time without our knowledge.
3. Accuracy, and the limits of it
In short: We work hard to show you real, current things — and you should still verify before you act on them.
Parts of GigDisco are generated with the help of artificial intelligence and live web search: fit assessments, suggested employers, suggested events, and suggested recruiters. We take accuracy seriously in ways most tools do not — we verify links before storing them, we refuse to store events whose source we did not actually retrieve, and we double-check before ever calling a job listing closed.
Even so, this information can be wrong, incomplete, or stale, and you should treat it as a well-researched starting point, not a guarantee. Before you travel to an event, confirm the details with the organizer. Before you plan around a listing, check it on the employer's own site. If GigDisco tells you something that turns out to be wrong, we want to know — but the responsibility for acting on it stays with you.
4. Your account
In short: Be 18+, keep your email secure, and tell us the truth about yourself.
You must be at least 18 years old to use GigDisco. You agree to give us accurate information and to keep it current — the quality of what GigDisco suggests depends directly on the honesty of what you tell it.
Your email inbox is effectively a key to your account: we sign you in by email, and the one-tap links in our digest emails act on your behalf without a separate login. Keep your inbox secure, and tell us promptly at michael@gobestrong.com if you believe someone else has access to it.
5. Plans and payment
In short: Plans are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. Nothing renews by itself, sales tax is added at checkout, and when a paid plan runs out nothing is deleted.
Paid plans are one-time, time-boxed purchases. There is no subscription, no auto-renewal, and no recurring charge — when your plan's time runs out, we simply stop charging you, because we never started charging you repeatedly in the first place.
Each plan grants a length of service and a number of Directions, as shown on our pricing page at the time you buy. When a paid plan expires, your board becomes read-only and the digest emails stop. Nothing is deleted: if you renew, everything turns back on where you left it. A free trial that was never used is the one exception, and it is described in Ending things below.
Prices are shown before sales tax. Where we are required to collect it — Washington today — the tax is calculated from your address, added at checkout, and shown to you before you pay. It is not part of what we keep; we remit it to the state.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change for future purchases; a change never affects time you have already bought.
6. Refunds
In short: Seven days, full refund, if you haven't saved a Direction yet.
If you buy a plan and change your mind, email michael@gobestrong.com within 7 days of purchase. If you have not yet saved a Direction on that plan, we will refund the purchase in full. Refunds are returned through Stripe to your original payment method and typically take 5–10 business days to appear.
If the law where you live gives you more than this, the law wins.
7. Your content
In short: Your resume and profile are yours. You give us permission to process them so the product can work.
You own what you put into GigDisco — your resume, profile, notes, and answers. You grant us a limited license to store and process that content for one purpose: operating GigDisco for you. That includes sending relevant parts of it to the service providers who help us run the product (such as our AI provider, which generates your suggestions), as described in our Privacy Policy.
You promise that you have the right to share what you upload. Do not upload someone else's personal information without their permission.
8. Friends and viewers
In short: You can invite people to see your search. Choose them the way you'd choose references.
GigDisco lets you invite friends to view your search — your board, your Directions, your progress — because encouragement is worth a lot in a long search. Viewers can see; they cannot edit your search or spend money on your behalf.
Inviting someone shares real information about your job search with them. Invite people you trust, and un-invite anyone you stop trusting; we will remove their access.
9. Acceptable use
In short: Use it for your own job search. Don't scrape us, resell us, or abuse the systems.
You agree not to:
- use GigDisco for anything unlawful, or upload content you have no right to share;
- scrape, harvest, or bulk-export data from GigDisco, or use it to build a competing dataset or service;
- resell access, share paid access beyond the friend-viewer feature, or use one plan to run someone else's search commercially;
- probe, overload, or attempt to bypass the service's security or usage limits;
- misuse the one-tap email links, including acting on links from an inbox that is not yours.
We may suspend or close accounts that violate these rules. If we close your account for a violation, any remaining plan time is forfeited.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
In short: GigDisco is provided as-is. We do our honest best; we can't promise perfection.
GIGDISCO IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY INFORMATION IN IT (INCLUDING AI-GENERATED SUGGESTIONS, JOB LISTINGS, AND EVENT DETAILS) IS ACCURATE, CURRENT, OR COMPLETE. WE DO NOT WARRANT ANY EMPLOYMENT OUTCOME.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty disclaimers, so parts of the paragraph above may not apply to you.
11. Limitation of liability
In short: Our liability is capped at what you actually paid us in the past year.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GO BE STRONG LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST OPPORTUNITIES (INCLUDING EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES), OR LOST DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF GIGDISCO. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limits, so parts of the paragraph above may not apply to you.
12. Ending things
In short: Leave whenever you like. Ask, and we'll delete your data. An unused free trial deletes itself after we warn you.
You can stop using GigDisco at any time. If you want your account and personal data deleted, email michael@gobestrong.com and we will delete them within 30 days, keeping only what the law requires us to keep (such as payment records for tax purposes). The Privacy Policy describes this in detail.
Free trials that are never used are deleted automatically. A trial runs 7 days. If, on day 6, you have not done anything in GigDisco — signing in counts, and so does saving a Direction, tracking an employer, or giving feedback on a role — we email you to say so, and if there is still nothing a day later we delete the account and its data. We will never delete an account we have not warned first, and we will never delete an account that has ever been paid for. If you are quiet but present, nothing happens: activity of any kind stops the clock.
Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive — including Your content (as needed to wind down), Disclaimers, Limitation of liability, and Disputes — survive the end of your use.
13. Changes
In short: If we change these Terms in a way that matters, we'll email you before it takes effect.
We may update these Terms as GigDisco evolves. The date at the top is the date of the current version. For material changes, we will email account holders before the change takes effect. Continuing to use GigDisco after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms; if you don't accept them, stop using the service and — if you recently bought time — ask us about a prorated refund.
14. Disputes
In short: Talk to us first — 30 days of genuinely trying. Then Washington courts.
If something goes wrong, email michael@gobestrong.com and tell us. Both of us agree to spend at least 30 days trying in good faith to resolve any dispute informally before filing anything anywhere. Most problems are misunderstandings, and most misunderstandings are fixable by two people acting in good faith.
If we can't resolve it, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, and any legal action must be brought in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington. Both parties consent to jurisdiction there. Nothing in this section prevents either party from using small claims court where its rules allow.
15. The whole agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Go Be Strong LLC about GigDisco. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our not enforcing a provision at some moment is not a waiver of it.
